bluette baking is the independent pastry creations of Krista Allvey. After working in bakeries and restaurants in the Bay Area (thank you: Batch Baking, Marla Bakery, Tartine Bakery, Pizzaiolo, Ramen Shop) throughout her twenties, she moved to the Mendocino coast where bluette first came to life, mostly through the form of cakes and pastries for small events, birthdays and weddings. After a few years on the coast, she relocated to the west side of Hood River in the Colombia Gorge to help create Costarossa Farm where she is focusing on growing vegetables and flowers.
